Justin C. Wong, MD
I was born and raised in Phoenix and I am excited to return to the Valley to take care of patients in the community. I chose a career in Orthopedic surgery because it offered the best opportunity to make a lasting impact on my patient’s quality of life. Within Orthopedics, I found the upper extremity to be the most fascinating, based upon the anatomy, wide range of conditions treated and the unique involvement that the upper extremity plays in defining who we are as individuals, through work and recreational activities.
I have dedicated myself to care of the upper extremity with dual fellowship training in both Hand Surgery as well as Shoulder and Elbow Surgery. I treat a wide range of conditions in the upper extremity including: arthritis of the shoulder, elbow, and hand; tendon disorders and ruptures; shoulder and elbow instability; fractures of the shoulder, elbow and hand.
My practice philosophy is centered on the shared-decision making process of patient-care. First and foremost I want to educate each patient about their condition as well as the treatment options available to them. Non-operative treatment has a strong role in many of the conditions I treat. When surgery is indicated, I will do my best to help guide each patient through the decision-making process, surgery and rehabilitation.
