Michael Hayman, MD

I was always very active in sports. I played soccer at a very high level. About a week before I was to try out for the national soccer league I tore my ACL. I really liked my sports medicine doctor and appreciated both the care he gave and the relationship we had. I knew I wanted to be that doctor to my patients. I went to medical school knowing that I wanted to go into orthopedics and ended up doing a fellowship in Sports Medicine. I like that I can return people to their prior level of functioning. Unfortunately for me, medicine wasn’t where it is today when I injured my knee and I was never able to play soccer at that level again. I have had 6 knee surgeries since that initial injury so I can easily relate to my patients. I have a very informal practice and think that as my patient, you’ll find our office friendly and cooperative.
