Dr. John K. Bradway is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon at OrthoArizona. He has dedicated over 27 years of his life to adult reconstruction, arthroscopy, joint replacement, and healthcare administration. Dr. Bradway serves as an active member in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, the Arizona Orthopaedic Society, and the Arizona Medical Association, among others. Additionally, Dr. Bradway is the president of OrthoArizona, and he serves as a consultant for Ortho Development Company helping to develop implants and instruments for lower extremity joint replacement. He is an oral examiner for the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery since 2005, helping to assure high quality orthopedic surgeons across the U.S.

Dr. Bradway has been recognized multiple times as a ‘Top Doc’ by Phoenix Magazine. He is also listed as a top orthopedic surgeon locally and nationally by the Consumer Research Council of America, Castle-Connolly, US News and World Report and others, and recognized as a Best Doctor in America. He graduated from the College of Medicine at the University of Arizona with Honors, is a member of AOA medical honor society, and he was awarded the University of Arizona Foundation Award in 1983 for being the top graduate in his class. He then attended the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine, where he specialized in orthopaedic surgery. A native of Arizona, Dr. Bradway returned back to his home following residency and has practiced continually throughout the Valley since that time.

Currently, Dr. Bradway evaluates and treats patients and problems of the shoulder, hip, and knee using state of the art surgical techniques. Much of his practice is focused on the treatment of arthritic conditions of these joints. His approach to treating patients is to remain committed to an ongoing, intensive medical education program to keep himself abreast of current thinking and technology. Dr. Bradway believes that patients and physicians are a team and that the patient is an integral part of the medical decision making process.
