Golfing, Biking and More – A Patient Story
Here is a recent update from one of our patients:
Progress has been excellent. Bike riding outdoors, have constructed gym in my garage using Resistance bands and TRX suspension system; using 3 X per week focusing on golf-specific exercises (basic TRX exercises, rotation, core, Fitter wobble board, Bosu ball, Stability Ball, and Teeter inversion bed)
I can walk 4 miles before knee starts to bug me.
Playing golf 3x per week using power cart. If I play 3 days in a row, my knee provides a bit of pain, but nothing to write home about. I play left-handed so I torque on my right knee and move all my weight to that side to finish the swing. I’m back to trusting the knee and shooting under par again occasionally. I expect to be walking the course by end of this season using electric bag trolley.
Hope all is well with you.
I appreciate the expertise in the operation and rehab that you provided me as evidenced by my recovery process.
