Physical Therapist
Vanda attended the Vanguard University of Southern California, Costa Mesa (CA), where she received her bachelors degree in Sports Medicine and Pre-Physical Therapy. She continued her education at the University of Southern California, where she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2001. She is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization Exercise Trainer (DNSET).
Vanda has been working in the outpatient orthopedic setting for over 20 years. She has experience in treating a wide range of issues, including postural dysfunction, neck and shoulder issues. She is certified in DNS (Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization), a treatment approach she implements with most of her patients. Vanda also has experience in treating athletes of all ages, from pre-teen and teenage athletes all the way up to professional athletes, especially tennis and hockey players. Because of this, she has enjoys treating patients with vestibular dysfunction and post-concussive syndrome.
Vanda came to the US from the Czech Republic on a tennis scholarship and enjoys playing tennis, traveling, hiking, watching plays in a theater, cooking new recipes from the New York Times Cooking App and watching her teenage kids compete in high level ice hockey.
