About Dr. Bradway

Dr. Bradway no longer performs surgeries. He will continue to see new patients and refer any surgical candidates to his colleagues.

Dr. John Bradway is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who has dedicated more than 25 years of his life to adult reconstruction, arthroscopy, joint replacement, and healthcare administration. He believes that patients and doctors are a team and that the patient is an integral part of the medical decision-making process. He received his medical degree from The University of Arizona College of Medicine with honors, was named a member of the AOA medical honor society, and he was awarded the University of Arizona Foundation Award in 1983 for top graduate in his class. He then attended the Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education, where he specialized in orthopedic surgery. Dr. Bradway is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, the Arizona Orthopaedic Society, and the Arizona Medical Association, among others. Additionally, Dr. Bradway serves as a consultant for Ortho Development Company, helping to develop implants and instruments for lower extremity joint replacement. He is an oral examiner for the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery since 2005, helping to assure high quality in the field of orthopedics across the U.S. He has been recognized for 10-plus years as one of PHOENIX magazine’s Top Docs and he is also listed as a top orthopedic surgeon nationally by the Consumer Research Council of America, Castle Connolly, U.S. News and World Report, and others.
