About Dr. Weisman

Dr. Martin Weisman is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery. From bunions and hammertoes to total ankle replacements, complex deformity correction, and minimally invasive techniques, he takes care of the entire spectrum of foot and ankle conditions. In addition, he treats orthopedic conditions throughout the body, including broken bones, athletic injuries, work injuries, and degenerative arthritis.

Dr. Weisman understands the challenges of getting healthy following an injury and offers both operative and nonoperative treatments for most foot and ankle problems. He believes trust is of the utmost importance in the doctor-patient relationship and works diligently to ensure patients achieve their goals.

Dr. Weisman trained in the highest standard of orthopedic surgery. He completed his residency at Beaumont Health Royal Oak & Taylor in Royal Oak, Michigan, and then furthered his education in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston McGovern Medical School in Houston, Texas.

Dr. Weisman has published multiple articles in peer-reviewed journals and received an award for a top-five article in Foot and Ankle Specialist in 2018.

In his spare time, Dr. Weisman spends time with his family. He has also served on multiple medical mission trips to Haiti and continues to work to bring excellent orthopedic care to developing countries.
