Amber O’Campo, O.T.D., O.T.R./L.

Amber was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Neuroscience from the University of San Diego in 2019, followed by her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy from Huntington University in 2023. Amber is a certified ergonomic assessment specialist (CEAS). She joined OrthoArizona in 2023 and is currently working to become a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT).

Amber specializes in custom splinting and general upper extremity rehabilitation. She completed her final clinical rotation at OrthoArizona under the supervision of a CHT. She then collaborated with a CHT and focused her doctoral capstone on assessing upper extremity ergonomics in office, industrial, and healthcare settings. Amber has experience working with fractures, lymphedema, pre-and post-surgery hand rehabilitation, neurological conditions, full and partial burns, amputations, ligament/tendon injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders.

Outside of the clinic, Amber enjoys playing guitar, watching movies, phone calls with long-distance loved ones, and spending time with her dog. She maintains an active lifestyle with activities such as running, swimming, playing basketball, and hiking.
