Supervising Physician

Geoff is a certified physician assistant who works as a part of the clinical team with Dr. Matthew Hansen. Geoffrey assists Dr. Hansen in surgery, sees new, established, and postoperative patients in clinic and has extensive training and experience in ultrasound-guided procedures.

Geoff obtained a Master of Medical Science degree at the prestigious Yale School of Medicine. During his time in the Yale School of Medicine Physician Associate Program, Geoffrey excelled with the guidance of world-class clinical and research physicians. During his studies, he was immersed in knowledge and experience relating to specialties including internal medicine, pediatrics, general and trauma surgery, and musculoskeletal conditions. He was elected to supplement his core clerkships with training in the surgical intensive care unit and plastic surgery. Geoffrey served as a student adviser on the Yale School of Medicine Council and Physician Associate Program Curriculum Committee, where he assisted with course modification and improving the integration of the PA program within the medical school. He began his educational pursuits at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree.

Prior to his medical education, Geoffrey enjoyed his time as an educator at the nationally recognized Highland High School in Gilbert, where he taught biology and human anatomy. Geoffrey is a member of the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA), Physician Assistants in Orthopaedic Surgery (PAOS), and the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi–BYU Chapter.
