Heather Jordan, D.N.P., F.N.P.-C.

Supervising Physician

Heather is a board-certified family nurse practitioner at our Mesa Arbor Avenue office who specializes in lower extremity wound care and skin graft substitutes. She is also an active member of the American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society and the American Professional Wound Care Association.

Heather received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Northern British Columbia in 2007. She then went on to gain 15 years of nursing experience in critical care, trauma, and emergency nursing across western Canada and the U.S. as a clinical instructor, mentor, and nurse leader. Heather later continued her education as she earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree as a family nurse practitioner in 2020.

Outside of the office, Heather is a lifelong hockey player and fan. She suffered a fractured ankle in 12th grade, nearly sidelining her collegiate hockey aspirations. She loves working with patients across the lifespan, but she also loves working with young athletes who are trying to achieve their goals of playing at the next level. She has a personal understanding and experience of both foot and ankle injuries and chronic conditions that have given her a deeper appreciation of the experience of her patients.

Heather’s Patient Philosophy

“I strive to provide exceptional care to all patients I encounter through fostering a strong and open patient-provider relationship. I believe in excellent communication and developing a connection with each of my patients. I aim to ensure my patients have an understanding of their injury, condition, and treatment options to ensure I can best support my patient’s goals.”
