Kristie earned her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from New Mexico State University and then went on to earn her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Northern Arizona University right here in Flagstaff. She worked for five years in private practice orthopedics and is excited to join the InstantOrtho team.

Kristie earned a myriad of experience in orthopedics, including work as a surgical first assist in trauma cases, complex total joint replacements and revisions, sports medicine, fracture care, and amputations. She has evaluated new patients/injuries, managed postoperative patients, wound/incision care, application of braces, and suturing and is also proficient with various injection types for all joints, including steroid, viscosupplementation, and orthobiologics.

Kristie strongly believes in patient education so that her patients can make informed decisions about their treatment. She seeks to treat all of her patients as she would want her own family members to be treated.

Born and raised in Farmington, New Mexico, Kristie enjoys being active (weight lifting) and spending time with her husband, her son, and dog. She also enjoys traveling to the northern parts of Arizona for hiking.
