Melissa Clark, D.H.Sc., O.T.R./L., C.H.T.

Melissa has been a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) for over 20 years and has extensive experience working with upper extremity injuries, including trauma, burns, post-surgical recovery, and various other orthopedic conditions. She earned a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from Indiana University, followed by a master's degree in Exercise Science and a doctoral degree in Global Health Science.

Melissa has several years of experience teaching at the graduate level and lecturing nationally on topics related to hand and upper extremity injuries. She also has extensive experience as a multi-site orthopedic manager and consultant operating across multiple states.  Melissa has developed numerous clinical and educational programs for orthopedic clinics, primary care practices, continuing education companies, and universities. She is a Certified Kinesio Taping Instructor through the Kinesio Taping Association and a Certified Corrective Exercise Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

Dedicated to serving underserved communities, Melissa has participated in clinical missions in Honduras, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Romania, and the Hopi community in Arizona, providing hands-on therapy and training.

Melissa’s practice focuses on empowering patients to take an active role in their recovery, fostering engagement and personalized care.  In her free time, she enjoys mountain biking, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her family.
