Michael has been a practicing physical therapist for over 11 years in outpatient orthopedics and sports. He went to James Cook University (Australia) and completed his bachelor’s degree in physical therapy and then went for his master’s degree in sports physical therapy from La Trobe University (Australia). Michael is an Australian Physiotherapy Association sports and exercise physical therapist, an Australian certified strength and conditioning coach, and a certified clinical Pilates instructor.

Michael's expertise lies in addressing acute and chronic sports injuries involving muscles, tendons, and bones as well as orthopedic rehabilitation, focusing on areas such as the shoulder, hip, knee, and ankle. Michael is particularly passionate about later-stage rehabilitation and facilitating athletes’ return to sport. He also integrates rehabilitation principles with performance testing and data analytics, ensuring athletes meet crucial milestones and regain a level of fitness conducive to returning to play effectively.

Michael is an ambitious therapist who is always striving to raise the ceiling. He enjoys spending quality time with his patients, getting involved in their rehabilitation, and pushing them to continuously improve. 

Outside of the office, Michael's hobbies include playing and watching various sports, including football, basketball, soccer, and golf. He is an avid golfer and enjoys working out at the gym, hiking, and playing pickleball.
