Monica Walters, O.T.R., C.H.T., C.S.-C.L.T.

Monica graduated from the University of Puget Sound in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science degree in occupational therapy and went on to specialize in neurorehabilitation for several years. Her love of the arm and hand directed her toward orthopedics, and ultimately, a specialty in hand therapy. In 2018, she achieved her credentialing as a certified hand therapist. She also has a full-body certification in lymphatic therapy.

Monica has been a lifelong learner with a love for understanding the “why” in life. Wanting to offer solid, research-based evidence for nutrition to help patients heal faster, she completed a Master of Medical Nutrition degree to balance out her therapy approach.

Monica's hobbies outside of work include working with a local dog rescue group, hiking, camping, and of course, reading.
