Monte Morris, M.O.T.R./L., C.H.T.

Monte graduated from Louisiana State University Health Science Center with her Master of Occupational Therapy degree in 2016. In her final clinical fieldwork, she trained and later worked at a Level 1 trauma center in New Orleans specializing in outpatient orthopedic hand and upper extremity trauma. She received her certification in hand therapy in November of 2019. She has worked at different outpatient orthopedic clinics in the valley before starting at OrthoArizona in October of 2022.

Monte is very passionate about the mind-body connection and enjoys learning about all body systems and their role in the healing process. She is a certified yoga and Pilates instructor, so she enjoys incorporating her background in movement into her therapy sessions. She enjoys working with a variety of conditions, including tendon injuries, fractures, repetitive use injuries, and arthritis. She loves to make custom splints. Monte enjoys making one-on-one connections with her patients to create individualized care plans to help her patients achieve their personal goals in therapy.

Monte’s treatment philosophy is to educate, empower, and advocate.

Monte enjoys playing tennis, hiking, and cooking. She loves spending her time with her husband, daughter, and dog.
