Supervising Physician
Shane is a physician assistant with Dr. Jeffrey Abildgaard specializing in orthopedics and sports medicine.
Shane received his bachelor’s degree in physiology from The University of Arizona. He went on to earn his master’s degree in physician assistantsStudies from Midwestern University right here in Glendale, Arizona. He has previous experience in practicing joint reconstructive medicine and now specializes in hand and wrist orthopedics in tandem with Dr. Evans. He performs casting/splinting, joint and soft-tissue corticosteroid injections as well as ultrasound-guided injections.
Outside of the office, Shane enjoys hiking, camping, and touring national parks and is a movie enthusiast.
