E. Scott Frankel, MD
Orthopedic Hand and Wrist Surgeon
Dr. Frankel is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who has provided skilled, compassionate, and ethical care to patients for more than 20 years. He was drawn to the specialty of orthopedic medicine for the opportunity to help make patients’ lives better and specifically chose hand surgery because he was intrigued by the high level of anatomic detail within this specialty. Dr. Frankel views the hands as key to a patient’s sense of self, impacting their ability to make a living and participate in recreational activities. He therefore feels privileged to help patients manage such a critical component of their anatomy that impacts their lives so profoundly. He attended the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in New York, completed his residency at Duke University Medical Center in North Carolina, as well as a fellowship at the Hand Center of San Antonio in Texas.
