Dr. James Davidson specializes in the treatment of shoulder and knee disorders with an emphasis on advanced arthroscopic reconstruction techniques and joint replacement.
After receiving his undergraduate degree from Yale University and medical degree from Columbia University, Dr. Davidson completed orthopaedic residency and fellowship in sports medicine in Phoenix. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and has a Subspecialty Certification in Sports Medicine. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons and is a member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America as well as the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine.
Dr. Davidson has published scientific papers and spoken nationally on topics ranging from anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction to arthroscopic rotator cuff repair; and has been recognized by his peers as a “Top Doc” in both orthopedic surgery and sports medicine. He is the spring training orthopaedic surgeon for the Chicago White Sox and takes care of numerous high school sports teams.
