About Dr. Carr
Dr. Karston Carr is a board-certified orthopedic hand and wrist surgeon specializing in advanced training in treatment of adult hand and wrist problems. He has extensive training in ailments of the hand and wrist, including in treating carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger fingers, fractures, acute injuries, nerve problems, and more in a wide age range of patients.
Dr. Carr sees patients in all walks of life, from teenagers and adults, to all lifestyles, from sedentary to elite athletes.
He began his training at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he earned his doctorate degree. Dr. Carr went on to complete his residency at the UPMC Memorial in Pennsylvania. He also received additional training through a fellowship in orthopedic hand surgery at WellSpan York Hospital.
Outside of his role as a doctor, Dr. Carr enjoys almost all sports, especially soccer, racquetball, pickleball, obstacle course races, and martial arts sparring. He believes that the best patient care is provided with compassion and the highest level of expertise.
