Local Woman Free From Neck Pain After Disc Replacement With Dr. Nicolas Grisoni

Dawn P., 55, had been living with neck pain for years, and the pain was starting to radiate to her hands. Simple tasks, such as driving, sitting, or even sleeping, became excruciating ordeals. The constant, nagging pain significantly impacted her quality of life.

“No pain, I didn't have to take any pain medication, it was just Tylenol and Motrin,” Dawn explained. “It was almost a miracle that [Dr. Grisoni] was able to do this, and he's just a great doctor. I was walking the next day, and then I was getting on my Peloton—not going too intense for the first two weeks—but I felt like I could. It was like nothing, you know?”

Within days of the surgery, Dawn had a dramatic improvement in her symptoms. The pain that had plagued her for years was completely gone. She was able to return to her normal activities, including more rigorous workouts, without pain or restrictions after just two weeks’ time.

“[Dr. Grisoni]’s just very, very engaging, very patient. When we first went in, my husband and I checked to meet with him,” Dawn said of her experience with Dr. Grisoni. “He basically described everything so well on a whiteboard and went through all the specifics of what was going on in my neck.

“And even at the follow-up, he did the same thing. Very kind person. And, of course, after the surgery, I was in the hospital, so he came the morning after and was just a very kind doctor and super good at what he does,” Dawn added.

Thanks to Dr. Grisoni and his team, Dawn can once again enjoy life to the fullest. She is no longer burdened by chronic pain, and she is able to do the things she loves without any restrictions.
